Plashing

Pleaching or Plashing or Ligging!  What are these terms.
I will start with Plashing.
Plashing is a term used for hedgelaying in and around the Notts area of the country.
Pleaching is a term for the cut stem of the hedgerow tree that is being layed.
Ligging is the term used in the North West of England for hedgerow trees.
All the above have one thing in common and that is hedgelaying
